Is This Method For Me?

This method may be suitable for you if:

  • You find it difficult to attend physical sessions due to issues with childcare, caring for someone else or another barrier such as anxiety, depression or simply distance.
  • You prefer the flexibility of speaking to a counsellor from the comfort of your own home.
  • You are comfortable using technology and familiar with e-mail/instant messaging/visual tools/telephones.

This method is not suitable for you if:

  • You find communicating online/on the phone a challenge.
  • You are in immediate crisis. If you are then please contact the Samaritans 116123 for free confidential 24 hour support. If you are 18 or under you can contact Childline free and confidentially on 0800 1111 or emergency services on 999.

Timings & Costings

Telephone, Instant chat and sessions using a visual aid (similar to Skype) each last 50 minutes and cost £40. E-mails are £30 per response and I will respond to your e-mail within 48 hours.

Currently these sessions are only available within the UK.

Please note the service is not a 24 hour service, should you require emergency emotional support you can contact the Samaritans at any time, for free on 116 123 or Childline free and confidentially on 0800 1111 if you are under 19.
